The Kids Are Not All Right

This 3-session webinar is for any adults who have youth in their lives (parents, educators, aunts & uncles, grandparents, youth workers, bus drivers) and will answer important questions about children and toxic stress.

     -What are Toxic Stressors/Adverse Childhood Experiences?

     -How does toxic stress affect the developing young person physically and mentally?

     -What can we adults do to buffer children as they deal with multiple stressors?

     -What can we adults do to mitigate the effects of toxic stress on the youth in our lives?

Please note: We will not explore participants’ own past experiences with toxic stress or Adverse Childhood Experiences here, but will focus on the children in our lives. However, adults have had “a-ha” moments about themselves during this class, gaining some peace in their self-understanding while we learn how to support and heal the next generation.
